Perseverance pays off!
This is proven by "the thirsty crow" who, after a long search, finds a jug of water but cannot reach the water with his beak because there is only a little water in it. Instead of giving up, he looks for solutions and in the end is able to quench his thirst.
The fable of Aesop shows that perseverance and understanding always lead to the goal.
