Children's books for more diversity
Awa Books creates children's books with the aim of bringing Tibetan culture closer to the younger generation.

"Books should be mirrors and windows for children. Mirrors to find oneself and one's place in the world in books. Windows to gain insights into other realities of life."
Rudin Sims Bishop
ABOUT AWA BOOKS
"Awa" in Tibetan means "child/children" (ཨ་ཝ།; a'wa) and it is exactly these two components that Awa Books focuses on - Tibetan culture for children.

We are very pleased to present our first book:
"The Four Harmonious Friends" is a well-known Buddhist fable.
Lovingly illustrated and linguistically adapted to our times, this bilingual children's picture book in German and Tibetan is intended to convey values such as friendship, unity and respect. An ideal book for reading aloud or as a first-time reader.
